649 Squadron Civilian Committee

Cambridge vintage Rally 17-18 May 2008

The 649 Squadron will be on duty at the Rally, Civilian Committee Members are required to support this event

Squadron Internet/Broadband.

Its been some time in arriving but hopefully the Squadron is likely to have the long awaited internet/broadband option availiable in the next few weeks. Thanks are mainly due to the Kingshill House administration management in allowing this facility for Squadron use. We will, once installed, again become operational on the presently evolving Bader System, this enables a comprehensive communication and information network for the entire Air Training Corps. The Tetbury Detached Flight have within the last few weeks installed Broadband into their new system.

LATEST---BROADBAND HAS VIRTUALLY ARRIVED, PARTS REQUIRED TO INSTALL ARE AWAITED AND WITH LUCK COULD BE WITH US IN A FEW DAYS TIME,

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING MAY 2008

DUE TO REASONS BEYOND OUR CONTROL THE PREVIOUSLY PROGRAMMED AGM WAS POSTPONED, THE NEW DATE IS AS FOLLOWS:-
THE 649 SQN ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING is planned for WEDNESDAY MAY 14TH 2008, starting time 19.30 hrs, at our KINGSHILL HOUSE HQ, Dursley.

This remains the most important meeting of the year, the Squadrons future evolves for this event. If you have an interest in the Squadron and its future, please help all concerned especially the Squadron's Cadets by attending this meeting and becoming an active committee member, this is the time when elections take place to cover the next twelve months. Your help and expertise would be very much appreciated.
